Une étude contrôlée randomisée comparant
le traitement adjuvant sous hyperthermie intravésicale du système Synergo® conjointement
à de la Mitomycine C (LHT + MMC) versus le traitement adjuvant d’immunothérapie
intravésicale par BCG chez les patients atteints de cancer superficiel de la
vessie à cellules transitionnelles
L’étude clinique menée actuellement par Medical Enterprises a débuté en 2002. Il
s’agit d’une étude multi-centre randomisée. Les services d’urologie d’hôpitaux
italiens, français, hollandais, belges et israéliens y participent.
Chercheur responsable de l’étude clinique :
Professeur J.A Witjes, Service d’Urologie de l’Hôpital Universitaire Radboud,
Nijmegen, Pays-Bas.
Participants à l’étude :
- Patients atteints de cancer superficiel de la vessie urinaire à cellules transitionnelles (Ta, T1 ou CIS) après ablation
de la tumeur par voie chirurgicale.
- Risque moyen à élevé de récidive ou de
progression.
- Pas d’instillations intravésicales préalables
de MMC dans les 12 derniers mois, ou de BCG dans les 24 derniers mois.
